Well, depends really on the law and on who that loved one is. Maybe for my mother, brother, niece, nephew and Alberto, yes, and if that law is a stupid one or one that doesn't much make sense. However, if what they've done is really evil and caused harm to society, well, they might have to pay for their offense.
