Cosmo Bachelors Bash 2012: The Infuriatingly Queue That Did Not Move Due to An Usher's Fault

This huge billboard greeted us outside the venue

This is where our suffering started!  We were near the entrance gate.  This was 7PM

We had been waiting one and a half hours already here but we were all still in good spirits!

This really awesome and long Hummer parked in front of us at about 8:30OM - it did entertain us for a while
Ok, so we arrived at the World Trade Center at around 7PM, thinking that the show would start at 8 or maybe 9PM.  We were wrong!  We had to stand on the queue for AN HOUR AND A HALF before our queue even moved a bit!!  Turns out, the organizers failed to field ushers OUTSIDE the venue and inform the poor people waiting outside (that's us and a thousand other WELL-DRESSED PEOPLE) that the entrance was on the FAR end of the building!

The huge pile of people waiting to enter into the VIP section (this was in the middle of the building) made it impossible for the organizers to realize that there was a LONG QUEUE on the other end of the building!! How infuriating!!   Anyhow, around 8:30PM, I guess the organizers realized SOMETHING WAS WRONG when no one was inside the venue yet!! Kasi naman, next time, please check the queue and TELL YOUR USHERS TO MOVE THEIR ASSES and keep the queue moving!!

Seriously, I am a veteran of concerts and shows here and abroad and waiting in a queue that doesn't move for about an hour and a half just to enter a venue the size of a basketball gym is no fun.  If this were Wimbledon, I wouldn't really mind....So I hope they get their act next year.  Just field ushers outside so they know what is happening.  The queue last night was PRETTY WELL BEHAVED by the way - so we were really just there looking forward to have fun!
