Another interesting nugget from Anthony Strano's book, "The 8 Principles of Spiritual Living" is about observation. It is a skill that we need if we are to access positive changes. According to him, to be a detached observer means to keep the mind clear and free and open to new perspectives. Being able to observe enables us to be creative, productive and effective because we have made space for true and better understanding.
