I was listening to the radio today as I was going home, and I chanced upon these three young ladies, talking about love, (what else?!!!) What caught my ear was when one girl said she never expects guys to call her, or try not to expectantly wait for any guy to make her feel special. What a sad feeling! Maybe she does not want to be hurt so she just does not expect something from the guys who she has dated. What I think is she does not want to be set-up for something that will give her heartbreak! Or, what I think is, she still has not found that guy that would really make her happy.
To not expect a call or just ignore the actions of the guys she's dating just means, she's not into those guys. Because the truth is, if we are in love with a person, we eagerly await their calls, we want them to surprise us with gifts or special actions that mean a lot to us. We want them to make us happy! So by saying that she has never done those things, just means, she has never fallen in love yet, and those guys she dated, did not make her heart skip a beat! So just move on girl to the next guy! If there is no sparkle in your eye, it's not love, dear!
