It's been eight years since Jamie Foxx starred in Ray, the movie which gave him an Oscar Best Actor award. I only saw the movie today and I was pretty impressed at how Jamie gave such dignity and respect for the legendary singer. Ray Charles led a flawed life of drugs and alcohol and women left and right, but Jamie managed to show the human side of his character, without turning the whole thing into a melodrama. The movie was both entertaining and inspiring. I mean, if Ray Charles can follow his dreams - and he was blind and black - why can't I?
