I saw the movie 'Trust' a few months back and it was about a 14 year old girl who gets raped by a 38 year old man she meets online! Well, I read today that there is a training program for Filipino educators geared towards teaching them to protect children from online predators. I'm glad that they are actually holding these seminars - I just hope that they make it reach the grassroots level, or at least make it compulsory for all teachers since internet use is so ubiquitous among the youth nowadays.
