I only learned now that this movie was actually adapted from a book of the same title! No wonder the script was so good and so witty! I actually haven't seen a movie that had a very good viewpoint about love, flirtation and sex from a straight guy in a very long time! Well, maybe aside from the Hangover movies - but those border on the surreal!
I love the repartee between Edgar Allan Guzman and Mercedes Cabral - she with the pouty lips and ample bosoms! Both act very well here and it was really enjoyable to see how their characters tread that line between lust and that pretense of not loving each other.
There's a beautiful song in the end of the movie which is now one of my favorites for the year - it's sung by Daryl Leong entitled Sa Muling Pagtatagpo. The weird thing is I can't find it in Youtube! Terrible!
