Well, if you talk about local horror movies, Kris Aquino might be one of the persons that would come to your mind. Understandably so, since Kris has done her fair share of horror box-office movies. However, the woman who plays the aswang or the maligno or the manananggal, in many of these films is - well, the woman beside me in this picture - Lilia Cuntapay. She does have the face that would, well, if made up properly, would scare the bejeezus out of us! It's great though that she's game about it! I guess, well, if dun ka pumatok, why fight it, di ba?
Her film, Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay - was nominated in various categories last night including a Best Actress nomination for her. The audience last night loved her though and she had lots of fans asking for her picture !
