Enjoying Nasi Lemak

Thankfully, the sauce was not TOO spicy and the meat was tender and juicy.  I chose the beef though over chicken!

I'm a sucker for eggs so when I saw this combination, it was easy to say yes!!
Aside from all the Chinese food I ate in KL, I also ate different variations of Malaysia's national dish, the nasi lemak.  It's basically a spiced up meat, either beef or chicken, with spicy sauce, peanuts and some dried fish.  I prefer the ones which are not so spicy though since I'm not into spicy food.

Negotiating LCCT, Kuala Lumpur (Set 2 Pictures)

Inside the departure area as I was looking where to check in - you either go to the right or to the left.

They have many chocolates in the duty free so just buy it there!  I bought all my chocolates in KLCC and they're a bit pricey!

Well, if you want perfumes, there's a lot to choose from!

The waiting area has some stores which might catch your fancy - I checked the bookstore!  Not as comprehensive as the ones in HK but still, fun to browse!

Another money changer just in case......

There is also a money changer in the departure area just in case....

They have wifi in the waiting area so if your laptop is charged, you can do a lot of work while waiting for your flight.

Negotiating LCCT, Kuala Lumpur (Set 1 Pictures)

There are many restaurants outside the LCCT so don't worry about getting hungry.

My Air Asia flight was to Clark so I took a picture of the flight!

I have here some pictures of the departure area of the LCCT (Low Cost Carrier Terminal) of the KL International Airport.  I arrived here from KL via bus which I took at the KL Sentral Mall.  Just take the yellow bus and pay around 8 ringgit (125 pesos one way).  The whole trip to LCCT from KL Sentral took about an hour and it was a pretty comfortable trip.

First Time at LCCT (Low-Cost Carrier Terminal, Kuala Lumpur)

There are money changers inside the airport near the baggage claim area.  Just change a little bit of money though because they give fairly low rates.  For example, 1000 Philippine pesos in the airport is just 64 ringgit, but in the city, in a money changer near my hotel, Hotel Wira, in Jalan Putra, the same amount is  75 ringgit!

Don't even bother to change at KLCC since it's also low there, but a bit higher than the airport.  They gave me 69 ringgit for the same amount.

One funny incident during this flight happened during the baggage claim.  There was no advise to us, passengers from Clark, as to where we could get our luggage.  I checked all the baggage counters and none said Clark.  I waited for another ten minutes and also observed my co-passengers - who were also nonplussed.  Finally, a girl approached one of the airline staff and asked about our luggage and the guy pointed us to where they were - already downloaded from the plane but no marks saying that these luggages came from Clark.

In this conversion table, check out the lower amount since that is the one you will get.

There are many restaurants outside so don't worry about getting hungry.

It is only airconditioned inside the airport.  Outside it's not, so wear comfortable clothing.

There are many ATMs outside just in case you want to withdraw.  I haven't tried it though, darn!

This airport goes to a lot of places and this photo includes the airlines flying here.

There are shuttle buses to KLIA as well as to the city center.  The airport is pretty organized.
