Body Jam Launch in Fitness First Avenue K

I guess they have the same launch date as us here. They used to be more than a month ahead. They're just as crazy though with Body Jam here.
If you're complaining about not having enough space in the clubs here, try dancing beside two six footer guys and do the choreo with a lot of turns!
Talk about avoiding flailing arms and flailing legs - these guys give another definition to dance.

Body Jam Break at Fitness First Avenue K

Took a break from all my tennis tonight and had a great Body Jam class with my friend!

Fantastic Body Jam Class at FF Avenue K in Kuala Lumpur

As usual, first order of the trip is to attend a Body Jam class. Sadly, FF Menara mbF has closed already so sa FF Avenue K na ako makaka-attend everyday.

I really preferred the former one because it was not very crowded. The latter is, OMG, parang palengke, a bekiloo every square millimeter! You wonder who is the queen among all these divas!

Anyway, I attended probably one of the best Body Jam classes ever - the energy of the class was very high and the instructor, Uchop, is one of the best instructors that I've ever attended, very confident, very expressive with his moves and just no holding back with him!

He did mostly old tracks, which was great and I thought I already saw everything in Body Jam but with him, you get to see something new from those vintage tracks I've done a thousand times!

He kinda reminded me of how Jing did those rock tracks last week. I reacted like, "Ooohhh that's how it's done pala, it's more expressive, more in the spirit of the tracks being played." Same with him.

It's fun to see old favorite tracks being danced to in a new light! It's really how the instructor puts his or her own stamp into them that makes them very enjoyable to watch.

He also taught the next class, called Dance Fusion. It's really more like my G-Force classes since the steps were very complicated and there's a step for every count. Feeling mo, back-up dancer ka sa concert ni Madonna!

And I loved it! The class composition was also very interesting! May bata, may matanda, may babae, may lalaki, may Chinese, may Malay, may Indian, may mga puti - it was the most heterogeneous dance class, I've ever attended!

The pressure was like attending a G-Force class. Wag kang tatanga-tanga and you have to have recharged your memory cells! We did four eights and ayun, anlandi ng steps. no holding back talaga!

Incentive na rin na cute yung chinito guy beside me. Mahirap pala sumayaw pag gwapo katabi mo. You have to concentrate more and not keep looking at how he dances!

Fitness First Trinoma Celebrates Sixth Year

Fitness First Trinoma celebrated their 6th year anniversary today!  The affair was well-prepared as there was enough food for everyone!  I was even able to attend the mass and the priest was very funny but very insightful!  I joined Carlo's 3PM Body Jam class and I really enjoyed it!  Also, most of the gang were there - Nina, Kat, Raquel, Chari, Budz, Raffy!  We all had fun and had enough to eat!  Kudos to FF Trinoma's management!

My Body Is Creaking All Over the Place

I was doing Body Jam and Hip Hop today but as much as I wanted to do hataw, I couldn't! My body was just not freaking cooperating, it irritated me so much!  I guess I really have to accept the fact that some of the moves that I could do effortlessly two years ago, I may not be able to do now! Terrible feeling, isn't it?

I guess what made it worse was that 90% of the class were young people, 30 years old and younger so I kinda got depressed for the first 30 minutes, I wasn't paying attention very much to the steps in the hip hop class.  But eventually, I stopped feeling sorry for myself and just decided to have fun and enjoy the moment. Anyway, Errol's steps were still 'friendly' towards my body.  I just avoided too much jumping!

Lost Six Pounds Due to New Body Combat Release

I weighed in last night and I was at 210 pounds, six pounds lesser than I was two weeks ago, before I did these extensive three times a week class of the new release of Body Combat.  I normally just do this class once a week, but since it has a lot of leg extensions and really long bouts of punching, I decided to take it seriously and after nine sessions, those six pounds of fat melted away!

Well, I did diet, a little, of course, and did some weights too and some Body Jam and Hip Hop classes, but I think they just contributed maybe 30% to the whole loss, since the new Body Combat release is so tiring, I'm sure it drained out most of the unwanted calories away.

I think there's one or two more weeks for the new release to be played so I'll just have to take advantage of it before they resort back to the mix and match.  Let's see if I can take out 4 more pounds in two weeks time!
