Emma Watson in 'The Perks of Being A Wallflower'

I'm not exactly a fan of the Harry Potter series so I am not familiar with the work of Emma Watson.  However, she has grown up to be quite a beauty and she has an upcoming film entitled, The Perks of Being A Wallflower.  It's a movie that's right along my alley of choices.  Just a drama about people and young people finding their places in the sun!

I hope it gets released here in the Philippines.  If not, there's always other ways to get a copy of it.

Logan Lerman: The Perks of Being A Wallflower

I enjoyed watching Logan Lerman in both The Three Musketeers and Percy: The Lightning Thief.  This time around, he's in a movie with Emma Watson, entitled, the Perks of Being A Wallflower.  Would you believe a guy as cute as him as just a wallflower in high school?  Oh well, sounds like an interesting movie!

Ezra Miller: From Kevin to Being a Wallflower

I still haven't seen the movie, We Should Talk About Kevin where Ezra Miller caused quite a sensation because of his work, yet, he has already moved on to much lighter fare in the movie, The Perks of Being A Wallflower.  With Emma Watson and Logan Lerman in it, it looks like an interesting movie!  Ezra's androgynous face does look cute and I won't be surprised if he metamorphoses into a really good actor when he grows up!

Movie Review: Lovin' The Perks of Being A Wallflower

I know that the Academy has decided that Argo is the Best Picture for 2012, but in my book, that would be The Perks of Being A Wallflower!  I couldn't believe I never bothered to watch this movie during its theatrical run here but when I saw it on DVD a few nights ago, I really really enjoyed it!  

I know I am already in the wrong side of 40 to be able to feel for the characters in the movie, but strangely, I feel a connection with them and it does help that the three main leads in the movie are also easy on the eyes.  I am a big fan of Logan Lerman and he's uber adorable here!  And so is Emma Watson and Ezra Miller!  

If you still haven't seen this movie, I strongly suggest that you do.  It is kind of a modern version of J.D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye - but of course, that classic is superior because it came first and the writing there was just incredible!  It's not that Perks is bad but it's a modern take on how it is to grow up in the 80s. 

Johnny Simmons Plays Pivotal Role in Perks of Being A Wallflower

Johnny Simmons plays an important character in the movie Perks of Being A Wallflower!  I love the scene where he and Ezra Miller get to kiss each other!  I don't know if that scene was shown here in Manila's theaters.  I really hope so, otherwise, we won't understand why Logan would react that way.  It's good that Johnny doesn't have that mop hair anymore.  He looks better in his latest pics.
