Crime + Investigation Channel: Still My Favorite TV Channel for the Week

Four TV channels figured in my TV viewing this week (Fox Sports, Fox Sports 2, CI, and BBC) and the top spot goes to Crime + Investigation channel with a total of 20 points.  Three TV shows about ghosts were the ones that got the most scores.  Since there are two channels showing Wimbledon matches, their points have been divided. 

A show from a local channel, GMA-7 tops my TV ratings this week.

Dustin Brown vs. Nadal Match - My Most Favorite TV Show This Week

The magnificent Wimbledon match between Dustin Brown and Rafael Nadal is my most favorite TV show this week.  Six of the ten slots are tennis matches while the other three are about ghosts.

French Open Tennis Dominates My TV Ratings This Week

Lucie Safarova is definitely my star for this year's French Open.  Her matches are my first and second most favorite TV show this week.  Unsurprisingly, nine out of the ten TV shows are all tennis matches.  This usually happens when a slam happens.

A True Blood Season 7 Episode: My Most Favorite TV Show For the Week

My most favorite TV show for the past decade, True Blood, returns with its seventh and sadly, last season.  I think I missed some of the earlier episodes since there are things missing in the puzzle of the first episode I saw this week.  

In this episode I saw, the town of Bon Temps is being invaded by this group of rogue vampires who kidnapped some of the main characters of the show!  Even if there were some missing pieces in the story, I still enjoyed the episode and the show is still as entertaining and intriguing as the first time I saw it.

The Leftovers is another interesting HBO show I watched this week.  It's about a community where a group of people just disappeared after a calamity.  Essentially, the characters in this show are the ones leftover after that catastrophic event.  

The first episode I saw featured the town fighting with this group of people who don't speak!  Very intriguing!

#3 - HBO - The Village

This is the M. Night Shyamalan movie which I enjoyed but has a very funny premise.

Wimbledon Match Between Maria Sharapova and Angelique Kerber: My Most Favorite TV Show of the Week

Wimbledon matches still dominated by TV ratings this week as several thriller matches transpired this second week of Wimbledon.  On top of the list is the quarterfinal match between Maria Sharapova and Angelique Kerber.  Kerber just played the match of her life and edged the Russian.

A classic movie by Sharon Cuneta, directed by Emmanuel H. Borlaza is my most favorite TV show this week.  i like how simple the story is and how well everyone in the movie acted.

2014 Women's French Open Final: My Most Favorite TV Show This Week

The epic women's final in this year's French Open is my most favorite TV show this week!  T'was great to see both Maria and Simona really fight for the prize!  It has been rare to see such fights in the women's game lately, especially in the finals of the slams.

The match between Roger Federer and Ernest Gulbis in this year's French Open, is my most favorite TV show this week.  Gulbis was really in good form that match and it was no surprise that he reached the semifinals!

Li Na won her second grand slam title this week!  She was in fantastic form all throughout the two weeks!  Dominika Cibulkova was also in great form but she faded in the second set.

Segurista My Most Favorite TV Fare of the Week

It's the first week of the Australian Open and my top 10 favorite shows this week are peppered with tennis matches.  Nothing memorable though.  Interestingly, it's an old 90s movie from Tikoy Aguiluz which becomes my most favorite show of the week.  I thought Segurista was just a run-of-the-mill movie.  It's actually very very good!  One of the best Pinoy movies I have ever seen!
