Movie Review: Martha Marcy May Marlene Keeps You Guessing

Unsettling.  That is how I describe myself as I was watching the movie Martha Marcy May Marlene on DVD.  Elizabeth Olsen was fantastic in it!  Too bad she didn't get an Oscar nomination for it.  She plays a woman who escapes from a cult and as you watch the movie, you realize that the cult is really up to no good and it has really fucked up the mind of Olsen's character!  It's not easy to love the movie since there isn't much to love about Olsen's character as she really is completely lost!  Hugh Dancy is uber hot in here though and Brady Corbet as well - yum yum!!

Well, if you don't like normal Hollywood fare - this movie is for you.  The ending is a bit unsettling and I know something dreadful will happen to Olsen, her sister and her brother-in-law in the end.  That's my pessimistic take.  My optimistic take is Olsen will eventually get the help she needs and will be able to rebuild her life!

See, it's a movie that allows you to make your own ending!  Neat!
