Falling In Love with St. Francis of Assisi Once Again

Thank you Lord for generous friends like Nina!! Their place in Tagaytay is the perfect place to relax and commune with nature and God! They have a beautiful statue of St. Francis of Assisi in the grounds which could help one reflect on one's level of wanton materialism. If the beauty of the surroundings can't wean you away from your Ipads and Iphones even for an hour, then you really have to 'stop and smell the roses'.

My Lolo Vic's House: The Setting of Many A Wonderful Summers!

From 1979 to 1985, we spent our summers here in my Lolo Vic's house in Oroquieta City - I was very lucky to have spent my summers here and in my Lola Med's school in Ozamiz - I feel very blessed to have very loving grandparents, may their souls RIP! One of these days, I am going to write a movie script about my summer vacations here, tapos si Piolo ang lead actor and si Sam Milby ang kapitbahay, 'chos! Embellished fiction!
