When I first saw Buckingham Palace, I said to myself, "OMG, what an ugly palace!" To put that statement in context, I had already seen the chateaux in France the year before and OMG, they were just gorgeous and immaculately beautiful! So to finally see Buckingham, I was a bit shocked at how ugly and ordinary it was. It does photograph well on TV (during Diana's funeral) but you can ask anyone who has seen Versailles and this - and I'm sure they'll say - Louis, the Sun King REALLY had exquisite taste!!
I admit I was a bit sad when I learned we could not go to London for the Olympics because we had to pay for some mortgages. Sucks really but such is life. Condos comes first! Anyway, now that the Olympics are over, I can see my old pictures once again without feeling too gloomy. This one was taken at the Tower Bridge which I think people call the London Bridge, pero ang totoong London Bridge ata, dinadaanan ng cars and hindi siya nag-oopen when a boat passes. This one does when a boat passes by....
