A mildly interesting show about designers, Jane By Design, caught my attention last week, since the story runs on two parallel plots. One is about the main character Jane, and then her cute boyfriend and Nick Roux, who plays her best friend! I wonder why he didn't become her boyfriend, because in the episode I saw, I don't think he's gay! He's such a cute twinkie though, don't you think?
There are several cute guys and ladies in this new sitcom, Jane By Design. Probably the most intriguing one is Rowly Dennis, because here, he plays the fashion designer of the company he works for and who, from the looks of it, is a heterosexual. Hmmm...playing against type aren't we? Well, there are several goodlooking designers, even here in Manila, I could name two - but I won't, so it's plausible really to have a designer to be as goodlooking as Rowly.
There are several hotties from the sitcom Jane By Design and Matthew Atkinson is just one of them. He plays the boyfriend of Jane - and I don't even think Jane's that pretty. As for Matthew, I love the way he plays his character - since in the first episode where I see him, he tries his best to prove himself to Jane's best friend, a character played by the equally hot Nick Roux!
Like her co-star, Nick Roux, sexy bombshell, India de Beaufort, plays an intriguing character in Jane By Design. She's a 'beatch' but not quite - because India attacks the role in a way that sometimes, you love her, and most times, you hate her! However, India makes sure you still love her since she shows the vulnerable side of her character, a B who also gets rejected and hurt by other people. In a way, that humanizes her character and doesn't make her an out-and-out B!
I still don't like her character. I find her too gullible but anyway, she's still in high school so that's why she has no fangs yet to fight off the bitches in the fashion house she is working in.
The first scene I saw David Clayton Rogers appear in Jane By Design, he and Erica Dasher were competing for bathroom time! I immediately saw how adorable he was, since I did not see him in the earlier episodes of the show! How did that happen? Channel surfing I guess!
