Movie Review: Engaging 'Olympus Has Fallen'

I went moviewatching over the weekend and I was pleased to find out that Olympus Has Fallen was still showing in Robinson's Galleria, thank God!  It's a very engaging movie since the premise itself is incredible!  I mean, it's a terrorist wet dream!  This time, the terrorists are North Koreans who want South Korea to fall and become part of the north.  There are many violent scenes since almost all the Secret Service agents die!  Even the prime minister of South Korea is shot!! In the head!! Que horror!

Otherwise, I love seeing Gerard Butler - shirtless here, once again!  He's uber uber HOTTTT!!!  Anyway, he saves the day here and saves the life of the American president,  played by Aaron Eckhardt here.

Of course, not surprising to see Morgan Freeman play the Speaker of the House - the guy who is now running the country since the President and Vice-President are hostages!

Well, I strongly suggest you watch this movie just for the sheer fun of it!  It's engaging and the villains are just as vicious.  The patriotism for America is a bit jarring for non-Americans but it could easily be any country - so we understand the feeling.

It's a great way to spend the weekend - some slam bang action, some hot shirtless Gerard Butler - and seeing the world saved from terrorists - just the way it should be!
