Paul Smith, Burberry, Gucci, Dry Black and a dash of Divisoria

Out of a set of three ensemble clothing I prepared tonight, Laura picked this one!  She has always wanted me to wear black for an inexplicable reasons!  So tonight, since I didn't want to go there in just a plain black Burberry shirt and Dry Black skinny jeans, I placed my Paul Smith vest on and topped it off with a bowtie I bought in Divisoria!  And I picked my black Gucci glasses to complete the look!

I think I can pull off an all-black outfit!  I just might have to choose my accessories wisely!

My Look For Mike Posner's Show in Trinoma

For Mike Posner's show tonight, I wore a black shirt with some sort of scarf design in front from Heist - a brand which the store People Are People carries locally. Since it's just plain black, I paired it with a vest I got from Paul Smith.  The design is intricately sewn into the vest.  It's one of my favorite Paul Smith pieces that I have!

Trading Prada for Practicality

It used to be that a new Paul Smith bag or a new pair of Prada sneakers would get me all excited! It used to be that there was no problem at all shelling out the money to buy those things, season after season after season. So now I have a closet full of useless bags and useless shoes of previous season finds which look a bit impractical, considering the life changes that has happened these past few years. The truth is, raising children practically makes you a practical person. Out with Prada, in with practicality.

Raising children is not for the faint-hearted and for the poor. The truth is, it takes a lot of love – and a lot of money to raise children. Diapers and milk just don’t fall on your lap. You’d have to buy them weekly, and they aren’t cheap! If you want to have a life, a nanny would help big time – otherwise, you’ll end up looking like someone your husband won’t even dream about when he’s masturbating (yikes, if he’s masturbating, run to Belo, quick!!)

I guess it’s part of life’s cycle – now that I’m a little bit older and hopefully more mature, I could spend my money on more worthwhile things and instead of buying stuff to just show off, it’s going to more practical things like real estate investments and the kids college tuition fees. The ‘fix’ as I call it, is now more on practical things instead of superfluous ones.
