It's rare that a local movie has a lot of heavyweight young actresses and actors in it including some veterans. It's great that they allowed Angel, Bea, Shaina and Toni to appear as an ensemble instead of being the lead star of this movie. Add to that Enchong and veterans Carmi and Coney Reyes and you have this wonderful movie about a family which could easily be your neighbor.
Such is the case for the comedy Four Sisters and a Wedding and it's a cute look at the dynamics of a Filipino family dominated by four strong sisters. I like that the movie discusses the dynamics of Filipinos working overseas as well as women who raise their children on their own. Then, there's that wedding where the youngest gets to marry ahead of all the sisters! Anyway, if you're looking for something light, this movie is for you. Madrama ang ending nya ha!
I think I have seen Enchong Dee act before in that indie movie, Pano Ko Sasabihin. So I was not surprised that he did well in his latest comedy movie Four Sisters and a Wedding. It's a powerhouse cast of many great veteran and young actresses yet Enchong is able to hold his own, especially in that scene where he found out that his sisters were derailing his marriage! Sayang wala lang siyang shirtless scene here...... Still, he's cute and he should have a future as a leading man!
