When I was watching Wild, the movie, last night, you were the first person who came to my mind! This is a must watch for you - and something that I hope you can do in the future! I know many hikers but 99% of them are men - so it's great to see it done from a female perspective.
The truth is, doing this 1000-mile trek would be very dangerous for any woman to do - alone - especially one as beautiful as Cheryl Strayed - the character portrayed by Reese Witherspoon.
It's fun to see lang how the perky and well put-together Reese has transformed herself from her Legally Blonde roles to this character who tries to find herself and her life compass while doing this very physical and emotionally draining trek through the Pacific Coast wilderness!
Reese really lets loose in this movie! She does nude scenes and does sex scenes and injects herself with heroin - a far cry from the fun, perky Legally Blonde lawyer that she famously played a decade ago.
