Hunky Tom Hardy: Now an Oscar Nominee

While I was watching the rom-com This Means War a few years ago, instead of looking at Chris Pine, I was more transfixed with the other more hunky guy, Tom Hardy.  

It was the first time I saw the guy and it was just the start for him.  He moved to more high profile movies like Inception, The Dark Knight and this year's Mad Max.

I am not surprised that he got an Oscar nomination for The Revenant, since it's a movie that almost all the branches in the Academy voted for, and many of the voting actors saw.  

If the bida gets nominated, most likely the kontrabida din gets nominated.  One cannot be relevant without the other.

I don't know if Tom is already a member of the Academy but he should be very happy to have two movies in the Best Picture category. Must be tough which movie to choose to vote.

The Dark Knight Rises: The Final Installment

I actually only saw The Dark Knight on HBO but I was hooked on it and was impressed by what Christopher Nolan did to the Batman franchise!  No wonder, even the Oscar voters were raving about it! There was an actual story behind it!  So here comes the final installment to the franchise and this time, Tom Hardy plays Christian Bale's Batman nemesis.  It also looks just as promising!
