I decided to
wear an original FABE long-sleeved
polo shirt to
The Barber of Seville opera. Since I'm pretty strict with my merry-go-round style of using my clothes, that polo shirt was the only logical choice I had to wear for the occasion mainly because its fit was perfect and it was comfortable even if the place had poor ventilation - not that the CCP had poor ventilation.
Also, I decided to wear another original FABE green pants for this occasion. This one was garterized so I was pretty comfortable with the fit - not having to worry about my belt or something.
I wore my favorite
Gucci green shoes to complete the whole look. I love that shoes since it's pretty comfortable!
This was my look for the Train concert tonight. Why I wore something too gay for a band that has no gay street credo? No reason really except for - it was next in line to wear - in my closet! This floral shirt is actually from my own FABE collection and is one of my favorite shirts since it's very comfortable. It also photographs well, as you can see. Well, one thing true about me is I'm no shrinking violet when it comes to wearing it loud and proud!
I decided to wear vintage FABE today, this very comfortable dark grey athletic shirt with an "F" embellishment, to our Christmas party today. I decided on a sombre color since I thought it would be warm in Joyce's place but they decided to put an aircon in their living room - hurrah! So it was quite a comfy night really! But still, they noticed my shirt because of the F! I should really come out with a collection soon! I am just too lazy!
Because of the warm weather, I wore another athletic shirt today, this time, one of my own (Fabe Clothing) from an earlier collections that I made - all Philippine-made, mind you! The cap though is from G.O.D. in Hong Kong, one of Vic's favorite stores.
Well, every chance I get, I try to dress up, even for simple dinners like the one I had tonight with good friend Rica. We chose a cute and cozy restaurant tonight called Cafe 1771 at the El Pueblo in the Ortigas area. Tonight, I decided to accent my shirt with a modified blue bowtie I bought in a shop in Tutuban mall in Divisoria. The cloth of the long sleeve shirt I wore came from Indonesia and I had it sewn. It has petit gold trimmings in it sewn into the cloth. The cloth also feels like spandex and it's cool and stretcheable. This look reminds me of what the men wore in the court of Louis XIV, although my version is less ostentatious.
