My Look For the Day: Wearing Another of Mama's Fabulous Bib Collection

One of my friends said to me that I was competing with showbiz talk show host, Shalala, with my fabulous bibs! Oh well, I guess Shalala and I are sisters in the way we love bibs! So, for tonight's Christmas party with my friends from ABS-CBN, I decided on this bib ensemble, since it fit perfectly, the dark blue color of my fantastically cut Oxygen polo shirt. Whoever designed this Oxygen polo shirt is a genius! I think he channeled Dior in this one! Or maybe Junya Watanabe. Of course, it was a hit again during the party!

FABE Model: Mark Onir in FABE Accessories

I am helping my Mom get into an artist enclave in New Manila where they invite arts and crafts makers to display their wares. When I found this out from Jazel, my classmate in French class, I immediately knew that Mama was perfect for this group, since, the accessories she makes are artworks in their own right! And she makes them individually by hand! Imagine that!

Anyhow, these are some of the photos of the FABE Accessories which Mama has made and model Mark Onir has shown exceptionally well - the contrast between his masculine features and the femininity of the accessories are just really striking! Both come out really really sexy!

FABE Accessories: My Favorite Bib Necklace in this Collection

I actually haven't had the time to check all the pictures of our last fashion show but I found this picture of my favorite bib necklace in this FABE accessories collection! I love this piece! I wore it to several of my parties last December and my friends were raving about it. By the way, the model is Marco Bautista and I asked his permission if I could use his picture in this short blog.

Showcasing the FABE Accessories: Set 1

One of the stuff strutted in the last FABE LOVE Fashion Show were the FABE Accessories, all handcrafted by the designer Joy Fabe.

This particular bib necklace was personally designed for me by Mama. It was inspired by the necklace worn by the Bathing Ape owner in a Nylon magazine cover.

My Look: Wearing Mama's Fabe-lous Bib Necklace

Mama is the most creative person I know and this Christmas, she outdoes herself once again as she came out with these fabulous bib necklaces, one of which I am wearing here. My friends Honey and Vangie tried them on too and everyone in the barkada loved it! I loved it too! She made this bib necklace herself, with her own hands.

This necklace is one off and Mama never does one design twice. Like a true artist, she gets bored easily and moves on with another gem of an idea. By the way, even if Mama looks so kikay, she is a Fine Arts graduate of UP Diliman, mind you. She really learned her arts from the best and many of her teachers are now National Artists. Kita naman sa gawa noh! Love you Mama and Merry Christmas and thank you for making me look fabe-lous! I got so many stares in Trinoma last night and loved it!
