Josh and Tanner: This Amazing Race Season's Hunks

Every season, or at least once in a while, the people behind the Amazing Race has one pair of hunks just to titillate its gay viewers.  This season, it's Josh and Tanner.  Just like the other alpha male pairs before them, they are very competitive - but the race isn't over till it's over, so even if they seem to be the team to beat, so many things can happen from now till the last pitstop.

An Episode of Blue Bloods: My Most Favorite TV Show This Week

I watched an exceptional episode of Blue Bloods tonight.  In the story, the vigilante shoots himself after finding no recourse in the justice system.

My Husband's Lover My Favorite Show for the Week

 I rarely watch local teleseryes but I just had to catch My Husband's Lover this week to see how it was doing.  I know it's going to be tough to watch it regularly since during it's normal time slot of 9-10PM, I am still normally out of the house, so I don't think it's going to rate every week, unless I encounter a really good episode.  Anyway, for this week, it's my favorite show!

Jaymes and James of the Amazing Race

It is still the first leg of the latest season of the Amazing Race and yet one of the hot teams there - Jaymes and James ALMOST got eliminated!  I am talking about Jaymes and James, the Chippendale boys!  It's kinda weird they did not know what an abacus is but we can forgive them since they're American and Western - and are not too familiar with that Chinese invention.  I just hope these guys are not just plain brawn because they would need some brains too to win the race!

James and Jaymes were struggling in the first few legs of the race, just landing almost always near the bottom or the middle.  It was only when they were just five teams left that they started to dominate.  

There are only four teams left and the top three are very strong and I like all of them (Trey and Lexi and the Sri Lankan twins).  As for the goat farmers, oh well, no one expected them to reach the top four so they really have been pretty lucky!

Trey and Lexi are just such an adorable pair and even in the early rounds, they were already flexing their muscles, winning some of the legs.  Trey is pretty hot and it was great we saw him shirtless in some of the legs!  Yum yum!!  

This is one of the rare Amazing Race seasons though where I love all the four remaining teams!!  May the best team win!!  All of them deserve to win!

 

The Trouble With Dee Dee: A Feel Good Movie Tops My Favorite TV Show This Week

Here are my favorite shows for the week ending November 23, 2012 - 

#1 Diva Universal - The Trouble With Dee Dee

This feel good story about a woman-child and her father is my favorite TV show this week.  I was surprised by the character and how generous and giving she was and how she sacrificed her well-being just to give to those who have nothing.  And it's a comedy too!

#2 AXN - Amazing Race 

I feel bad that the hippies are gone and mainly due to them foolishly losing their passports!  Also, Russia is such an interesting place which the show features very well at this leg of the race.  

#3 Jack TV -American Horror Story Asylum

Another freaking scary episode this week - and this time, we finally meet the people one of the sisters was feeding!

#4  History - The Fall of Penang

I thought this would be a boring show but I was very wrong.  It was done in a pretty interesting manner!  I hope we could have a local version of this.  The Fall of Manila, perhaps?

#5 Diva Universal - Army Wives 

I chanced upon this show about, well, army wives, and their episode today featured a battered army wife.  The character was still young but she was tough.  Domestic violence is never an easy experience.

#6 History - Mankind: The History of All of Us: Empires

A magnificent documentary!  The episode I saw featured the Roman and Chinese empires.


#7 Bio - Celebrity Ghost Stories 

I love this show and this week, they featured Houdini and Jonathan Scaech.
 
#8 Bio - Ghostly Encounters

Another show that I love watching and this week was really scary - theater ghosts!

#9 Bio - Ghostly Encounters 

This episode featured a CD moving in a haunted house!

#10 Nat Geo - Is It Real: Vampires


A nice documentary featuring real vampires.

BBC Show One Day is My Favorite TV Show of the Week

 

Here are my top 10 favorite shows that I watched this week -

#1BBC World - One Day in London 

I discovered an interesting feature show in BBC World entitled One Day and every week, they feature a city from all over the world.  This week, they featured London.  I miss London so much and everything the feature story said was true about the place - its multiculturalism, its pluralistic appeal in fashion and the arts, among other things.

#2 Jack - American Horror Story

I really have to watch this series weekly!  It's amazingly frightening, I love it!


#3 AXN -The Amazing Race

The 21st season of the Amazing Race just started and I'm already rooting for the Chippendales!

#4 Diva Universal - Hot in Cleveland 
  
Not all of Hot in Cleveland's episodes work, but the one where they had Susan Lucci, love that!

#5 Diva Universal - Suburgatory 

I was drawn to this show because I saw Alicia Silverstone, of Clueless fame, and she was pregnant - a surrogate!  That's where all the complications start.

#6 ABS-CBN - Storyline: Birth

I love this show by Patricia Evangelista.  It talks about ordinary people and their struggles.  This week, they featured two mothers, one is a teenager giving birth, while the other has one child with disabilities and a dead one!  Prepare your tissue paper!

#7 Diva Universal - Suburgatory

They showed two episodes back to back so I watched the next one. Jeremy Sisto here is hot hot hot!

#8  Diva Universal -Hot in Cleveland

In this episode, one of the sisters make out with David Gates but not the one from Bread!

#9 Crime Investigation -Evil Up Close: Motorway Rapist

I wasn't able to watch too many CI shows this week but I will make amends for that soon as I come back.
