This period in British history was also featured in this year's Oscar-winning Best Picture movie, The King's Speech, but we never get to see the woman who made it all happen, Wallis Simpson, only King Edward VIII.
Judging by the two scenes from the trailer, now, we can finally see what may have happened to Wallis Simpson during that tumultuous time in the history of the British monarchy.
