My First Time to Hear Daniel Padilla Sing Live

So this is the Daniel Padilla all the young girls (and gays) are going gaga over.

When I learned the KathNiel fans were going to be present in last night's Himig Handog show, I knew pandemonium was going to happen, and in a way, it did!

I have seen Daniel act in a movie and I was not surprised how charming he was since I've seen all the other Padillas act and they have that killer charm which ladies fall for (although one of them transformed into a lady) - but that's another story.

However, it was my first time to hear him sing live, and in fairness to the guy, he can carry a tune, and combine that with his innate charm, ayun, you realize why they're so into him!

Of course, when I told Laura earlier in the afternoon that I was going to see him later, she just shrugged nonchalantly, and said she did not care for boys.

I am still in a safe place, but I know, not for long!

A Quick Education on Today's Current Love Teams and their Combined Names

I may be a middle-aged man but last night, I had a crash course on the names of the current hot love teams in local showbiz.

Well, laking Gabby-Sharon, Maricel-William, Snooky-Richard ako e, so I'm not surprised why today's young people still go gaga over love teams.

I know KathNiel and JaDine but my katabi last night, a gregarious young man, also taught me the combined names of today's up-and-coming love teams.

Competing last night were BaiLona and MarNella and of course, there were the hosts, LizQuen, who were very popular, gauging from the reaction of the noisy fans of Dolce Amore.

Hayyy, to be so young and so in love! Di pa nila alam kung ano ang consequences of their love teams LOL

Wait till you have children, kids. It's a total game changer!

Remembering the time when Liza Soberano walked in our fashion show

During the Himig Handog show last night, I noticed that Robi inadvertently called Liza Soberano, "Oh, ikaw Hope,........"

That's because, industry insiders know her as Hope Soberano and I think she's the most famous "graduate" of all the FABE fashion shows we've ever done!

Kaya nga when a friend told me, "Uy, that girl in that Enrique Gil movie was your model", I was shocked to learn na lumaki na pala si Hope, dalagang-dalaga na!

In 2011, Hope Soberano, aka Liza Soberano joined our FABE Love Fashion Show. I think she was only 12 years old din.

Nun pa, standout pa sya, but I think then, her Tagalog was terrible.

In that show she joined, there were 120 models so ayun, it's easy to get lost in the mix.

Sayang, wala kami selfie, babae kasi sya LOL

FABE LOVE Fashion Show Model: Hope Soberano

Hope Soberano was one of the FABE models who walked the ramp for the FABE LOVE Fashion Show last February 27, at the Metro Bar in Quezon City. 

Around 120 models participated in the show, most of them aspiring models who were going to ramp in the catwalk for the first time!

Hope is quite beautiful in person and she's still very young!  I won't be surprised if I see her in print or in TV in the near future.

Brazilian Model Zaydan Timpani

It is a coup of sorts that the SM Men's Fashion catalog has tapped Brazilian model Zaydan Timpani to pose for them.  He has done all sorts of modeling work and the sexy ones are truly heartstopping!
