Rediscovering Jay

I remember watching Jay in Robinson's a long time ago.  At that time, I wasn't very familiar with what Cinemalaya was doing but apparently, due to it, movies like this can get made.  It's a very plodding movie though, it's like you're chained to a very heavy steel ball and you'd have to carry it around.  Plodding!  Thank God Baron Geisler can act - and his portrayal of the gay Jay is spot on!  This guy really has the talent!  Sayang lang, bad boy ang image niya sa local showbiz - like coming to the set drunk, etc etc.  Pity really since he's just so good!  He's the only reason you should watch this movie!
