Movie Review: 'White House Down' More of A Comedy Romp

I entered the cinema when watching White House Down expecting a gripping thriller.  Instead, I got a comedy thriller with patches of cheesy American patriotism, which I thought was a bit inappropriate for this type of storyline.  Well, all the actors did well, and my favorite was Maggie Gyllenhaal who really tried to provide gravitas to the story, but the audience was laughing all throughout the movie so it kinda throws you off from the seriousness of what's really happening onscreen.
