Clybourne Park: 2012 Tony Award for Best Play

The Tony winners for Best Play rarely reaches the local shores since Filipinos are normally more fixated on the musicals.  This year's winner, Clybourne Park may also be a hard sell to Filipinos since it talks about racial lines and the irony of racism. Normally, anything black or African-American would be a hard sell to us.  Think of 'The Help' - a movie which made it big in America but nobody bothered to bring it here.
